Actual official support for STM32 under Arduino? Wow, that's kind of big news.

Considering the press-release reads "First demos at Bay Area Maker Faire, May 20-22" it looks like they don't have the code in the Github-repo yet. At least I don't see anything related to STM32 at https://github.com/arduino-org/Arduino yet.

Funny that, now we have to qualify "official support" to distinguish between arduino.org and arduino.cc .

Makes me really wonder. ST had the Arduino Headers on their Nucleo boards forever, but no IDE support, no software. Now they team up with the hardware branch of the after-split-arduino-team. The team that has not even gotten the Arduino Zero pinmap properly on their github. Then they also release the Arduino PRIMO board, a nRF52 + ESP8266 based platform, and there is also no sign of any IDE support ...

Not that I can see, however, interestingly. the board does include a built in ESP8266 according to the details here.
