Is it going to be released, or was cancelled?

Did anyone else notice the connectors on the underside of the board?

It would need to come with pillars, otherwise it will not rest flat on a bench.

Shame the video didnt have any commentry.

I also presume they are still using a modified version of libmaple as their core, because AFIK STM have not finished their official F4 core yet.

looking at the soc in the original post, it'd seem these days, we're moving closer towards 'monster' soc where the definitions is 'computer on a chip', cpu, sram, flash, lcd controller, wifi, bluetooth, ethernet, (n sets of) usb, gpios, (n sets of) spi, (n sets of) i2c, (n sets of uart), adc, dac, everything on a single chip,

& on the pcb just wires, pin headers, resistors & capacitors, ethernet jack, power connector

this is nearly the same for beagle bone black wireless as well

Link for their arduino board files:

https://github.com/arduino-org/arduino-core-stm32f4

And Yes: It's based on libmaple

Wow, cool, i can finally start my development on black F4 board having this as basis (I simply prefer libmaple code over STM32 core).

Hi Steve, did you read issue #41?
https://github.com/arduino-org/arduino- ... /issues/41

It seems the core has not been designed to easily support customization for other F4 boards..

It was clear for me from the beginning that some kind of customization is inevitable.
The issue does not specify how "easy" is to adapt this to other chips/boards, so that I will give it a try.
