Nucleo144-F767ZI DFU Bootloader

Post by gdjsky01 »

I know there are dedicated bootloader forums, however they seemed to be dedicated to particular bootloaders. So I hope it is okay to post here.

I want to enter the DFU bootloader. AFAICT reading the specs and manual there is a DFU bootloader in the firmware. I am not having any success entering it. Why? I want to try to load Circuit Python or Micro Python.

Now I KNOW this is an STM32 Arduino forum . But I was hope someone out there in STM32 land can give me quick step-by-step to entering the DFU bootloader. I have googled this numerous times, but found nothing that seems to cause a DFU bootloader to show up.

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.

You need to connect BOOT0 to 3v3, connect the USB cable and press reset.
Some boards may not have a USB port which is used for DFU, you need to check the schematics and data sheet for that.
