I've also this board that Frank Zhao graciously gave me a PCB about a year ago and that I have assembled two month ago :

I've tried to burn MicroPython binary compiled for my Netduinio2Plus (see viewtopic.php?f=39&t=115) into STM32F4Stamp, but it doesn't work as is...
Maybe a USB enumeration problem again ... :(

I've done some test with this board : I've got a LED Blinker working along with SerialUSB that let me send command to the board.
Then, I started working with MCP23017 attached to I2C port on PB6/PB7 but, unfortunately, I can't make Wire library working. It compile fine, but the leds attached to the MCP are not blinking. (When I use my old framework based on STM32F4xx_DSP_StdPeriph_Lib_V1.4.0, it is working properly)

I've known Frank for a while and had a few conversation whiLe he was at Adafruit around V-USB.

I know your board was free but it is really a one-off. My thinking is that you would be happier with a Maple Mini $4 clone... This is our baseline test board.

You could spend many hours on the free board but unless you just want to do this for the fun of it, I cannot see the long term benefit; were you building projects, you would need to order a new board anyway. That is, one for the project and on for the bench. I order the Minis from Baite on Aliexpress, 5x for $22 w/ free shipping - under 3 weeks delivery on last 3 orders.

Hi Ray,

I've already a Maple-Mini clone and I'm waiting for a second one a second one within next 2 weeks.
So, my goal is not only to play with stm32duino, which is already started weeks ago when I discovered the thread on arduino.cc ... ;)
But getting my old Netduino2Plus and Frank's STM32F4Stamp board out of the dust is also another goal ! :)
The STM32F4Stamp board is good for me since it is breadboard friendly like the Mini, but with much more power (F405 = 1MB Flash, 192KRam), same with Netduino2Plus. I really would like to use stm32duino instead of continue using STM32F4xx_DSP_StdPeriph_Lib_V1.4.0 framework.
I know that having STM32F4 rock solid as STM32F1 isn't trivial, but if the whole Community is working together to get there, maybe @straw should even needs to upgrade his design with an F405 ... ;)

I found the problem : shame on me, stupid junior mistake !
I simply had crossed the default pins for SCL and SDA in the Wire.h when I copied the file from F1 folder into the F4... :o
