http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a23 ... =12#detail

The F407 runs at 168Mhz, has Ethernet port, 512KB of flash, 3ADC, 2 DACs, 192KB of RAM, plus 4KB of backup RAM, plus all that we have in the F103 line...

And for Roger... 8 to 14 bit parallel Camera Interface with up to 54MB/s!!

My first post but have been lurking for a while, great forum , thanks guys.

Y55=US$8.86 appears to be a good value.

same board is also listed on aliexpress , 10 boards for US$99.14.

Guys,
remember , support for the F4 series is not as advanced as on the F103.

But I agree that those boards are good value, as i paid at least 3 times that price for my STM Discovery 407VGT board (and it only had a marginally better spec processor and doesnt have ethernet etc etc)

Anyone looking at the F4 should also look at what @sheepdoll has been doing with a STM HAL version ( though again, the HAL version is not as well supported as the F103 code)

i guess if there was sufficient interest in this board, someone could by a batch and redistribute them.

The main problem is the cost of worldwide postage. I think it would cost around $8, to end a board (up to 20mm thick packet) to most countries. but as the boards only work out at $9.99, it almost doubles the price.

John thanks for the link. I had tried finding them in aliexpress, but I was looking at quantity 1.

Given the cost/value in that board, looks like we should seriously work more in the F4 support!!

At least it provides another cheap and powerful option for anyone wanting to work in the F4 code.
