Compiler error in Visual Studio 2015 [Solved]

Post by almulder » Tue Dec 27, 2016 10:52 pm

I'm a newbie in the STM32 development. I'm familiar with Arduino's, Teensy, ESP8266 boards.

Now I'm trying to migrate an Arduino project to STM32F103C8T6 (blue pill) with Microsoft Visual Studio 2015, latest version of Visual Micro and Arduino IDE 1.6.13.

In the Arduino IDE it is working well, but I want to keep all my projects in Visual Studio.

All other projects are working well (Arduino Mega 2560, ESP8266 many variants), but I can't get working the STM32.
I got the error identifier "__builtin_offsetof" is undefined in ..\Arduino_IDE\hardware\Arduino_STM32\STM32F1\system\libmaple\stm32f1\include\series\rcc.h 558

I have tried all STM32 boards, but get the same error.

Does someone knows a solution for this?

thx in advance. Louis

Stupid of me. It was only a filter setting (Build + Intellisense -> Build Only)
