PlatformIO- How to get it to use Rogers core?

Post by Nutsy » Wed Jul 19, 2017 12:00 pm

Well im giving up on eclipse again. i simply cant get it to behave any more.

So going back to platformIO they have updated their system to v2beta something........ Does anyone happen to know how to get it to link correctly to the downloaded stm32duino core inside the arduino/hardware folder, rather than use the built in tool chains for platformIO?

Not sure why you should want that besides having latest changes, but you can replace framework-arduinoststm32 folder contents which is basically the same core.
It exists on windows systems in:

Code: Select all

%HOMEPATH%\.platformio\packages
and on Unix in:

Code: Select all

~/.platformio/packages
Of course, you need to have ststm32 platform installed before replacing framework folder.
