It is currently not available for the current supported board.

As mentioned in the Wiki:
Depending of the board, several upload method could be proposed
When it will be supported it will be displayed in the upload menu.

Unless you would like to use the Arduino_STM32 core being the main (original) focus of this forum.

There is "Arduino-ish" support for the Official ST Nucleo boards here:
https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32

So, if you are using an Official Nucleo board, please use the correct core files. That is, do not use Roger Clark's core (derived from Leaflabs.)
User fpiSTM generally answers Official Board questions but others may chime in, too.

Yes it's possible as the F303RE is available with the STM core.
Select "Mass Storage" in "upload method" menu and that's all.
It's only a copy of the .bin file.
You have to connect the board thanks the integrated STLink in order to have the mass storage volume mounted.

hello

We do not use the on board STLINK , we hope use F303RE USB direct to upload firmware with DFU mode .

Thanks

From the Google search form:

Code: Select all

DFU site:wiki.stm32duino.com
That will give you all of the hits on DFU in the WiKi. For the github WiKi:

Code: Select all

DFU site:https://github.com/rogerclarkmelbourne/Arduino_STM32/wiki
And finally, for the original documentation from Leaflabs:

Code: Select all

DFU site:leaflabs.com
That essentially is the non-forum repository for DFU dialog/knowledge.

As you are using the Nucleo outside of the manner in which fpiSTM has suggested, I suspect you are on your own to find/resolve a solution to this issue. fpiSTM is the authority on answering questions related to Arduino core on Official STM Nucleo boards.

The Nucleo boards core is located within this link: https://github.com/stm32duino

The stm32duino.com forum does not support the F303RE with our core.

You could look at Koduino ( written by Avik De), it supports F3 processors, however it does not seem to have much community support.
( google it )
