Welcome to our new members !

Post by martinayotte » Tue Apr 19, 2016 1:56 am

Hi to everyone !

I'm really amazed by the energy that stm32duino site rose those past weeks !

Most of this came from our new comers to our site, and I wish to congrats them to have join our team and contribute to its success !

Sometime we can have different views, we debates, but it is always welcome to have views of the others !

I wish that Year 2016 for STM32Duino will be the most productive one ! ... :D

I just hope people aren't very thin-skinned. When talking about technical stuff one shouldn't be mincing words and instead be allowed to say things as they are. Criticism is healthy, it allows us to learn from our mistakes, even if it may momentarily feel unpleasant.

And your energy is welcome too, and I'm congrats this !
What can I say, well, maybe :
I've been a Linux specialist since 25 years, but I've post my first "kernel patch" only last week, and it will take probably 3 month before getting thru.
(if it is going thru ... :ugeek: )

Speaking of newcomers.. could we either add a library.md similar to igrr's ESP8266-port for listing known-good libraries for use with the STM32's, or a thread here on the forums? I think it's pretty handy to have a quick reference to various libraries that work, especially for newcomers, instead of having to hunt for ones. Or is this a dumb idea? :?:

Oh, never mind, it seems we already have a subsection for this. It's not quite as compact a solution as I'd like, but..I suppose it'll do.
