STM32F407VET6 Version of Midbar

Post by _Northstrix_ »

Hello, everyone.
My name is Max. I'm a computer science student and a self-proclaimed embedded system developer. I began learning to code in 2017 but only started making more or less complex and functioning projects around 2021.

As for the projects, let me introduce you to my most recent project - the STM32F407VET6 version of Midbar.
Midbar is a data vault that can store your login credentials, credit card information, notes, and phone numbers.
To keep your data safe, Midbar utilizes a combination of the 3DES, AES, Blowfish, and Serpent encryption algorithms alongside the HMAC-SHA256-based integrity verification feature.
In addition to that, this is the first version of Midbar that can simultaneously handle the PS/2 Keyboard and the Nintendo 64 Controller.

If you're interested in the Midbar (STM32F407VET6 Version), you can find the tutorials for it on:
https://www.instructables.com/Midbar-ST ... 6-Version/
https://www.hackster.io/northstrix/midb ... ion-7d9c57
https://medium.com/@Northstrix/midbar-s ... 3e74894924

As for the firmware, the links are in the tutorials. But for the sake of convenience, I paste the part with the links here:

You can download the firmware for Midbar from one of these sources.

SourceForge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/midbar/

GitHub: https://github.com/Northstrix/Midbar

If you just need the firmware for the device alongside the RNG, then I would advise you to download the archive that weighs less than 2 Mb from SourceForge.

But if you need the firmware for all versions of Midbar alongside the extra code, photos, and diagrams, in that case, I would advise you to download the 266 MB archive from GitHub.

I hope you find this device handy.
Best regards,
Maxim Bortnikov
