Schematic Question

Hi All

After looking at a lot of open source projects using the STM32F405 i have found that most of them seem to be an exact copy (in schematic) of each other, but all with slightly different board designs / layouts.

One thing that im confused on is why most of these, including the sparkfun Things Plus- https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/7/7/2/1 ... g_Plus.pdf

and the Adafruit Feather - https://cdn-shop.adafruit.com/product-f ... ematic.pdf

Have the PA9 / UART1_TX and PA10 / UART1_RX tied to VCC or the 3.3v supply voltage? What is the meaning of them doing this?

I'm not sure about this but I think it is link to USB (Vbus and ID).
