Receive data syncronized with external clock

I have a board P-NucleoWB55 and I trying to receive data syncronized with external clock.
I have 2 signals clock and data. The data transfer rate is clock/128, I tried with USART but I understand which doesn't support external clock, with SPI I can't set a divisor on clock is it correct?
Is there an example which I can use for my scope?
